[O]rdinary versions of Scripture, however accurate may be the translation of the words, yet present a double divergence from the sacred original: first, that they give no indication of the varieties of literary form and structure that distinguish different parts of the Bible; secondly, that they impress upon the whole another structure that does not belong to it, but was the creation of medieval commentators.—Richard Moulton, The Modern Reader's Bible (1895)

What is The Books of The Bible?
The Books of The Bible is a groundbreaking new presentation of the Scriptures designed to accurately reflect the biblical authors’ intentions. In keeping with the IBS mission since 1809, The Books of The Bible was developed to actively encourage more frequent, comprehensive Bible reading. We assembled the Bible Design Group in 2003 to explore and produce a new visual presentation of the Bible.
